First Bank Names New Branch Manager in Fountain Inn

Fountain Inn, SC: First Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Shayla Ingold as its new Branch Manager at the Fountain Inn location, effective immediately.

Shayla brings nearly a decade of banking experience to her new role, having previously served as in senior banker and branch coordinator roles at other financial institutions. There, she was selected to participate in a 7-month leadership development initiative designed for high-performing employees, and was one of only three employees chosen from the Tri-State area.

"We are thrilled to welcome Shayla to the First Bank team in Fountain Inn," said Karen Smith, Area Retail Manager for the Upstate. "Her extensive banking experience, leadership skills, and deep connection to the Fountain Inn community make her the perfect choice to lead our branch. Shayla's commitment to customers aligns perfectly with First Bank's mission to provide personalized financial solutions and build trusted relationships with everyone we serve."

Ingold expressed enthusiasm about her new role, stating, "Being part of the Fountain Inn community is very important to me. I'm excited to work with the team and in particular, to help local businesses."
The health of small- and medium-sized businesses is close to Ingold’s heart. Prior to moving to Greenville County, she owned and managed a daycare facility for 12 years in North Dakota, where she’s originally from. Her unique perspective as a former business owner and as a banker will be an asset to the Fountain Inn community.

Please join us in congratulating Shayla and welcoming her to First Bank.
