Job Summary:

Outdoor Fence and Deck Contractors is seeking an experienced and proactive Customer

Experience Manager to lead our customer relations and project coordination efforts. In this key

role, you will act as a liaison between our customers and project teams, ensuring smooth

communication, project efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a skilled

project manager who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and hands-on with experience in both

field operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Liaison and Project Coordination

? Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the build process,

ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

? Communicate project timelines, progress updates, and manage expectations,

addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism.

? Handle all invoicing, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate billing

information.

2. Quality Control and Warranty Management

? Oversee quality control for all projects, conducting site visits to ensure work

meets company standards and customer expectations.

? Manage incoming warranty calls, coordinating necessary repairs or follow-ups to

maintain customer satisfaction.

3. Shop and Equipment Management

? Oversee shop operations, ensuring an organized and efficient workspace.

? Manage trailer and truck maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and

ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.

? Maintain and track inventory, ordering materials as needed to support upcoming

projects.

4. Subcontractor and Crew Management

? Coordinate and conduct training sessions for subcontractor crews, ensuring

alignment with company standards and customer expectations.

? Provide support and guidance to field crews, helping resolve issues that may arise

on-site.5. Customer Experience and Community Networking

? Proactively build relationships with customers throughout the build, addressing

any issues that arise and ensuring a positive experience.

? Represent the company at local events and networking functions, helping to build

and maintain strong community connections.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50- 100 lbs as needed.

Loading and unloading materials at job sites or the shop.

Walking on uneven job site terrains, including dirt, gravel, and sloped areas.

Climbing ladders and working at heights when inspecting projects.

Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Standing, bending, kneeling, and moving frequently throughout the workday.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or a related

role, ideally within construction or similar industries.

• Customer Service Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record

of building and maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles, basic

construction practices, and experience with invoicing systems (QuickBooks experience is

a plus).

• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities, from

coordinating crews to managing shop operations.

• Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may

impact customer satisfaction or project timelines.

• Networking Ability: Comfortable engaging in community outreach, with the goal of

enhancing the company’s reputation and expanding customer relationships.
